Nantasket Beach - Our Seaside Neighbors
Being steps from Nantasket Beach offers Seaside the perfect opportunity to learn through real experiences in our own natural surroundings.  We often enjoy taking nature walks to find all manner of ocean life as well as birds and other creatures who call the beach their home.  Developing an appreciation of nature at such a young age assists in creating conscientious individuals who recognize the value of maintaining our beautiful natural surroundings.
Gardening Galore
Here at Seaside we love to plant.  In our school yard we have apple trees, lilac bushes, raspberry & blueberry bushes all planted by the children during the 2011/2012 school year.  In 2012/2013 we planted bulbs and grass seed as we renovated our school yard adding our hill that we love to run up and down.  In the classroom as well we keep a planting station from March onwards for the children to start seeds.  These seeds will be transplanted into our gardens throughout the late spring and summer months as part of the school year and summer program.  So if your little one has a green thumb they will love it at Seaside!
